Completed Projects

With over 3,000,000 visitors per year and counting, the need to maximize Tahoe Basin and region transit efficiency, while minimizing its impact on the environment, is becoming increasingly critical.

Incline Gateway

It took a village, the community of Incline Village, to envision the Incline Gateway at the intersection of State Routes 28 and 431. With the TTD facilitating, the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) managed design and construction of the roundabout. It promotes safety, helps protect Lake Tahoe's water clarity and air quality, and celebrates local public art. Also partnering in the $2.4 million project were the citizens' Incline Gateway Committee, TRPA, IVGID and Washoe County.

America's Most Beautiful BikewayTM, South Demonstration Project, Phase I

Partnering with Douglas County and the US Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, TTD managed construction of the one-mile Rabe Meadow Bike Path, the first phase of the 3.2-mile Stateline to Round Hill segment of America's Most Beautiful Bikeway. It was completed in October 2012 and accesses Nevada Beach and the Kahle Community Center. The environmental nonprofit Tahoe Fund donated $12,850 to help complete it.
