TTD ANNOUNCES 2025 SUMMER SERVICE TO SAND HARBOR
Tahoe Transportation District (TTD) is pleased to announce the return of the East Shore Express Service for the 2025 summer season, operating daily from Sunday, June 22 through Saturday, September 6. The service will follow the same successful route as 2024, with parking available at Tunnel Creek Parking Lot (1102 Tahoe Blvd.) and the Tahoe East Shore Trailhead.
The free transit line will run daily from 10 AM to approximately 6:30 PM, with continuous loop service connecting Incline Village to Sand Harbor State Park.

Where is the Tahoe East Shore Trailhead?
The Tahoe East Shore Trailhead is next to the Tunnel Creek parking lot.

Are we allowed to take the bus and then enter sand harbor on foot? Is walk-in entry allowed?
Yes, walk-in’s are allowed into Sand Harbor.
So to confirm we don’t need to a reservation
To get into San harbor beach ?
You need a reservation if you wish to park your car at Sand Harbor. If you take the bus or walk in from the trail, no reservations are needed.
