Incline Village Mobility Hub
Current Status:
Through public input, TTD is re-evaluating the project and the best options for the site and the Community. All project updates will go before TTD’s Regional Transit and Capital Program Committee and/or Board of Directors meetings for direction.
Overview:
Multiple transit and transportation planning documents identified locations for proposed mobility hubs around the Basin, including Incline Village. The site at 771 Southwood Blvd. had been used as an intercept parking lot for the seasonal East Shore Express. In 2019, TTD acquired the property at 771 Southwood Blvd. under a protective acquisition which required a site analysis for other properties that may be considered for the project. After receiving considerable public feedback, the Board of Directors formed the Incline Village Mobility Hub Committee. The Committee was comprised of three Board members and three members of the public, and the Committee met 12 times between 2022-2023. In 2022, TTD awarded a professional services agreement for third-party assistance to identify potential mobility hub sites, perform the site screening and analysis, and preferred site concepts for the project. In total, nine potential parcels in Incline Village, including 771 Southwood Blvd., were evaluated to determine feasibility, reasonableness, and multi-modal potential.
